Wait…it’s still cold.
It’s been a while since I’ve blogged because we’ve just been doing a whole lot of this lately:
But with warmer weather around the corner I’m getting excited about making plans for spring and summer. We even got Ellie a new set of wheels that we’re ready to get out onto the “open road,” or in our case, the sidewalk in our neighborhood. So far, we’ve just been wheeling her around the house, but that’s only going to hold us over for so long!
Ellie had her 15-month check-up yesterday, which was almost a 16-month checkup since she turns 16 months on March 25th. I can’t believe how much she’s grown so quickly. I tried a pair of shoes on her last night that she wore two weeks ago and they didn’t fit anymore! At her appointment she weighed 21 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20.25 inches tall. She’s in the 20th percentile for weight for her age (pretty good for someone born 2 months early!) and 3% for height. She’s doing great in daycare and is consistently voted best dressed baby by her teachers. 🙂
And for St. Patrick’s Day, Andrew coordinated his outfit with hers for twice the cuteness. You can tell what a good dad he is by the way she’s looking at him in this picture. Complete and total adoration.
Stay tuned for some fun things coming up as the weather gets warmer! Until then, we’ll just keep looking for the sun. Where are you? Please come out soon!!
